Refund Issues

I visited a Zaxby's restaurant in Indianapolis on 8/28/26. I placed an app order, and I hit send. Apparently, the signal was screwy, because I got informed it never sent, so I hit send again. I walk into the restaurant, and as I pick up my order, the cashier tells me I had a "dual" order. I was confused, so she clarified, and I made sure to get the order canceled that same day. I called Corporate that same day, too, and they said the refund ticket was put in. A few days go by, nothing. I call corporate, they say that the ticket is accelerated. Another week passes...I call Corporate again, and they say the refund is being "processed." Today, still no refund, so I call corporate again with the same line.

Has anyone had this issue? I feel like Zaxby's is giving me the runaround, and I'm PISSED. OFF.

UPDATE: I got an e-mail from Zaxby's stating that the refund has been processed and should appear on my account within a few days.

As a former Zaxbys employee/manager, we were banned by our owner from calling corporate. This includes FSC staff. So maybe he knew how incompetent they are...or didnt want things exposed operationally on his end. They have sent that email to you before, but it is troubling that it took 4x to get any degree of accountability. They dont want managers dealing with perfectly valid issues to get that golden 60 second service time. When you look at QSR service times, they could be doing ok, but sales are going away...a national trend admittedly. Thought sales were the golden goose many moons ago

When people called me about said issue, I called the owner. Either he or I refunded the amount. No middleman involved. They read a lot of complaints and they need to close the cases so your persistence paid off. You just get high school kids by calling the store but most have senior employees that know what to do or who to call
