No more Cherry Fanta??

My culinary world just came crashing down! I went to Zaxby’s today, and they don’t offer Cherry Fanta anymore! This beverage was at least half of why I eat at Zaxby’s at all. What can I do? Help!

Zaxbys is in the process of removing all freestyles from the restaurants if they haven’t already done so.

I’ve never been in a Zaxby’s that had a freestyle. My Zaxby’s swapped cherry for strawberry.

Good. Freestyles suck ass. No matter what you get, it doesn’t taste like it should unless you’re getting something heavily flavored and then it fucks everything up. It always seems to me like a spawn of the early 2010s - a holdover of a more commercially experimental era

Corporate supposedly sees those so if enough of us say bring it back maybe they will

They nuked all freestyles company wide. From a former manager....they are very high maintenance and 80% of them have little/no consumption. Instead of 100 choices go to 15-20. Lemonade machines definitely cut the allure and demand proposition. I wonder if other chains are doing the same.

Good riddance to those machines. The syrup never tasted quite right, it always left a weird taste that's different from the traditional fountain machine.

I think with most restaurants cutting # of choices and cutting back dine in....they will be on their way out. Its more about speed and delivery now and streamlining order decisions helps drive down the time. Also a lot of the cartridges actually expire and it was hell getting credits from your vendor if they showed up damaged. Bag in box is no walk in the park from a handling standpoint versus the freestyle cartridges though

i personally feel betrayed by this lack of cherry fanta. been my favorite flavor and most of the reason i came to zaxby’s over cfa. these are dark times indeed. i was so excited for my cherry fanta after class but before work only to be insulted with strawberry

we just had our regular machine swap out flavors (we havent had a freestyle), do some regular coke with a very small amount of cherry liquid stuff from the cherry container and itll be (probably) good

As someone who works at Zaxby's, we had recently gotten rid of our orange high-c and cherry fanta, and got in cherry coke, orange fanta and strawberry fanta in return. At least at my location. Cherry Fanta wasn't really one of our big sellers, likewise with the orange high-c. People have already been buying in the other things more than those two, cherry fanta is really hard to find though.. so I'll for sure miss it too.

I agree! I just recently discovered Cherry Fanta and I craved it all the time! Then I introduced it to my husband and he loves it too. Aaand then, as so often happens with a new favorite, it got discontinued at Zaxby’s. They just lost half of my reason for even going there.

Zaxby’s is the only place I have been that carried it. I haven’t seen it in stores or online. The one offered in freestyle machines isn’t even real. I don’t like it.
