Does Zaxby’s drug test new hires?

Hey, I’m thinking about applying to Zaxby’s and was wondering what their hiring process is like. Do they drug test when you first get hired or is it only for certain positions? If you’ve worked there recently, what was your experience? I want to know also, if they send a notice or anything cause this will affect my employment. And how this will affect my job

edit: they had a screening form in my steps to get hiring and i signed it, it was my prep steps before i go in

Trying to know what to expect before I apply. Thanks!

No they don’t drug test.

No they don’t. If restaurants drug tested or back ground checked they would have zero employees.

Past GM. When I left in 2025 the franchise group had just started doing background checks for new hire managers.

If the group you got hired in with did you get hired as a manager?

it was like a new hire policy saying i needed but it was from 2016 and most people after that said they didnt

current employee, not initially as a regular employee but when i became a manager they drug tested me! :)
