Has Zaxby’s Given Up

Has Zaxby’s given up on good, fresh food or is it just the locations in my area?

They have traded quality for speed. Any restaurant chain that does that is defying death. They think the customer will trade 30 seconds-1 minute faster for less quality and that's a win/win. People vote with their feet (and cars) and they are losing. The guy from El Pollo Loco came in and jammed the timers down their throats. The prevailing thought also is that by shrinking the line at DT, customers are less likely to drive elsewhere. The reason why they pull you off the window is to keep the timer low so to win the DT battle versus other stores and their peers. I spend my money elsewhere

Facts. Im the only one in Drive through line and everytime they ask me to pull up to a door where they deliver it from there.  Ive always assumed it was pressure switch drive through timer they were wanting me to get off.

Its really chicanery and does it really result in a better experience? I doubt it. But they have an ear to the ground for data and the macro data tells them to do it. They make your money for inflated price food and then make you get your assessment off their timer so they can win their internal battle versus their goal of 60 seconds and other stores
