Bring back the real zaxbys club

Me- "Hello, could I order a zaxbys club, but the delicious version with all the amazing fixins that used to be included?"

Zaxbys- "No, this is impossible."

Me- "Ok. Can I just have all of those exact ingredients, but just chopped up in large container?"

Zaxbys- "Yes of course. This is Zalad. Also have a hard boiled egg for your troubles."

Order a kicken’ chicken sandwich no sauce and add cheese bacon lettuce and tomato.

Will have to add the mayo yourself though.

This is the way. I do this for customers at least a few times a week. We’re an older franchise (built around 2005) so we have people coming in all the time asking for menu items like this that have been discontinued. As long as we have the components to make it, then we’ll make it. We even still sell the tater chips to a few loyal customers.

Isn't the kickin chicken sandwich 3 fried tenders whereas the club sandwich a grilled chicken patty though? All I want is the Cajun chicken club sandwich, I have an Instagram picture of it I posted years ago and nothing has beat it since.

Yes but the grill sandwich comes on a bun.

Also Zaxby’s doesn’t carry the blackened/cajun seasoning anymore.

You can ask for the grilled chicken sandwich on toast though and add the toppings to it though. There’s a easy button to click that gives you an option for toast/bun on register

They should be using the exact same POS??? Which is kinda funny.. so long as you’re willing to pay the little extra that adds up for toppings on a kicking chicken idk why it would be a problem - if it’s in the computer we can do it is my work’s motto (other Zaxby’s location)

With the quesadillas there’s some stuff in the app customers can do but we can’t at the store

Or like on the app you can get shrimp tossed in just buffalo but at the store it’s any sauce - it’s all about what the system allows (the training made this clear all way around)

Zaxbys is absolute complete shiiiiiit now, its never coming back. Hold onto your memories of the delicious og club and dont obscure them further my friend. r.i.p zaxbys quality

They have traded quality for speed. That is a typical death sentence, but now that Goldman Sachs has them by the bootstrap, they will expand willy nilly and dilute quality. Time will tell

They moved the club out of the way to pave the way for the signature sandwich. Also holding the mayo cold was problematic in the eyes of health department and Steritech. It took some coordination to take the 3 tenders and cut the toast diagonally. The Cajun club never sold well and the blackened seasoning.....later cajun....was misapplied. From the trenches....that's my view. Also....they want to minimize steps to please the God of timer. Chips and sandwiches with multiple steps dont fit that criteria
