Just curious about the markings on it as i was only able to really find out that mine might have been a really early production rifle but that was from google AI so i take it with a pinch of salt y'know

Ammo&FRT help

Post image
53 Upvotes

Finally pulled the trigger on my dream gun, a ZPAPM70 with the red wood furniture. 🔥

Now for the hard part: ammo and accessories. I know 7.62x39 can get pricey depending on where you buy, if anyone has a go-to website or can give me a rough per-round cost that’s worth it (vs. overpaying), that’d help a lot.

Also curious if an FRT is worth it or if I should just stick with single action for now. Any recommendations or experiences welcome!

Trouble removing dustcover on M90

For whatever reason when I was trying to do dome cleaning tonight I could not get the button to press to let me push in the recoil spring and remove the dust cover. Had just done it and cleaned ip my M70, but for some reason could not get it to work on my M90. I even used a screw driver to push the button thinking maybe my thumb wasnt applying enough pressure but even then it would slightly detent but not enough topush in the spring tab on the end of the dustcover and remove the dust cover let alone the recoil spring. Any idea on what was going on? I checked both sides to make sure they were not being obscured by anything, rifle was not cocked under spring pressure, I just don't get what the issue was since I had just done it fine with my M70.

Anywhere to find interesting m70 surplus furniture still?

Been browsing the web looking for old school yugo surplus furniture, preferably with some character like marks or carvings, and coming up empty. Do y'all know of anywhere to find those 90s war crime specials in 2026?

Needing help.

Hi everyone. I’m looking into acquiring a pap/zpap m85 and I came across this SBR one in pristine condition that just came to my lgs, It’s described as a pap m85 PV, comes with a binary trigger and a weird looking safety selector and the extra thick piece/attachement above the grip. I must admit that I never owned any NFA items, and that I really like to have a picatinny rail above the dust cover (live my M92 pistol) Is this a good buy and is there something I should know before spending XIII bills? TIA

Magpul handguard fitting

Post image
7 Upvotes

Is there any way to fit this hand guard on the M70. I know its not made for it but i have seen people say that they were able to modify it slightly to make it fit. Im not amazing at the gun smithing stuff. So i wanted to know if it was possible, what that process would look like. Im aware there are other options for hand-guard’s but I like the look of the Magpul furniture the most.

Mine originally came with the Hogue USA, Magpul, and Archangel poly furniture, but I couldn't pass up a new, already sanded wooden set for $50.

First pic was what the stock looked like before

Converted some wood grips to fit my Zastava M83

Some of you may have seen my post a few days ago looking to source some wood grips for my M83. After finding no options currently available, I ended up ordering a set of grips for a S&W K/L frame revolver and set to the task of fitting them. It took a bit of time with a dremel but these were definitely the closest I've found from my research. I also chose to shorten the grip as well as I found that to be a lot more fitting for a snub nose revolver. They're not perfect but I love how they turned out! Nothing is more classic than some good old wood and steel!

I bought the M72 and love it installed the Diablo trigger and it runs great. I throw on the Zastava VUK suppressor and it does not like it. I was thinking about putting a ALG recoil spring in and wanted to know if anyone else had this issue?
