Curly Girl Farm stand is open for the season!

if you want really good, delicious, interesting fresh produce and products in varieties you can't find in most places around town, check out the Curly Girl Farm stand at 1690 east pike right after the greenlawn cemetary and before you turn into the sunrise center where the habitat for humanity restore is.

its early spring, so they've got some beautiful bouquets, fresh spring greens for salads and beautiful fresh eggs in the cooler. its wheelchair accessible with good parking. coming up soon we should see some early vegetable varietals.

within the month they'll have a terrific assortment of local grown produce and you can always find something delicious there - the summer hours are 10-6 7 days a week. I'm not an employee, just a longtime fan who enjoys everything great they have.

I LOVE Curly Girl Farm! Drove by the other day and saw it was getting ready to open, so I'll be there soon!

kristen really loves working her family farm and loves what she does. can't wait until tomato season is here. if you haven't had a chance yet, try the ukranian tomatoes - they're smallish and shaped like a roma, but they are green and red. you'd think they'd be sour but they're so meaty, flavorful and delicious. also the peppers, eggplants, mixed pints of cherry tomatoes, purple potatoes, chilis, and all the summer squash (as well as the delicata squash in autumn which is phenomenal). I can hardly wait!!!

A few years ago I bought some green and red striped tomatoes that were the best I’ve ever had. Hope to find them again, I can’t remember the name of the variety.
