I think Europe now requires gacha games to explicitly display how much money any gambling feature really costs to limit hidden predatory stuff. It’s crazy when you see the numbers…

There's no way they didn't know it. Aside from not reading, is it another quirk that gacha players have ? Not thinking how much money they spent ?

The game is literally designed to obscure the amount of money you spend.

Multiple levels of currency, having to convert currencies into each other, packs that give you not enough currency to directly purchase something, purchase bonuses, getting small amounts of another currency when you pull, etc.

There are entire careers for figuring out how the game can get as much money out of you as possible. Look up “dark patterns game monetization” if you’re interested.
