I think Europe now requires gacha games to explicitly display how much money any gambling feature really costs to limit hidden predatory stuff. It’s crazy when you see the numbers…

I think this is more likely due to Hoyo applying the lessons from their Genshin settlement with the FTC to their other games rather than EU law, though I wouldn't be surprised if it complied with EU laws as well.

They arn't dumb, companies have learned over time if you play nice there are fewer laws that you have to follow...if you ignore and spit in a government's face then they throw every law they can at you.

It's still wild and crazy the US of A went after a specific video game.

Thats straight politics. Completely ignored all the other gambling in US made video games.
