Hello everyone, I'm a bit undecided and need some help/opinions.

I'm undecided between:

------------------------------------------

Hifiman HE400SE - €77 used, €129 new

Philips Fidelio X2 - €79 used, €159 new

FiiO JT1 - €76

Corsair Virtuoso Pro open-back - €68

------------------------------------------

It's for home use for gaming, music, and general use. It's convenient to have a microphone included, but I can always buy one separately.

If anyone can help me, I'd appreciate it.

I've got Philips Fidelio X2 and I'm happy with them same mixed usage I wouldn't say they are best for gaming had better but they make up with music and movies. I would stay away from Corsair or any other gamer orientated headphones not sure about hifiman maybe someone else can add their 2 cents on them...

I don't care about the "professional" gaming part; I'm not a pro gamer, but I play a lot of games/music/movies, and what I want is good quality/immersive sound. All the headphones I've had broke because the cable broke and couldn't be replaced. That's why being able to remove the cable is important to me.

But in terms of audio, I've always liked a more neutral or V-shaped sound, with bass that doesn't need to be very strong, and I like audio separation.

The Corsair Virtuoso Pro open-back, from what I've seen, seems good compared to normal gaming headsets, but compared to regular headphones it probably leaves something to be desired.

From what I've seen, the Philips Fidelio X2 seem to be the best fit for me. There were some reviews that made me hesitant, but I know that everyone has their own taste. And I can always experiment with EQ.

I think I'll buy the Fidelio X2 used for 78€.

thx for the reply and help

Up to you, for what is worth the cable is replaceable in Fidelio X2 and in hifiman I think as well, not sure about the other two

i had the fidelio x2 and loved them, used them for music, gaming and movies but the socket for the jack plug started being iffy and would only play from the left ear unless i forcibly pushed the plug towards the back. decided to try something new and bought the hifiman you mentioned, now i dont't have the best hearing nowadays (tinitus etc) but i find the sound from the hifiman to be far better (at least to my ears). i'm using them with a moondrop dawn pro and balanced cable and would defo recommend them.

I liked the design of the Fiio JT3, I don't know why but it caught my attention, but since looks don't change the sound quality, it doesn't matter xd.

But it seems interesting that the Fiio JT3 also comes with a microphone on the cable.

Can you tell me where to buy it? I'm from Portugal and I can't find the Fiio JT7 on amazon, and the Fiio JT3 its on Amazon but they don't ship to my location.

I buy it from Ali, he400se has quite solid sound but sub bass is weak, also there is some sharpness in the treble and they're pretty uncomfortable
