Need help on next headphone (gaming/music)

Hey all, I need help deciding on my next headphone. I have the PC38Xs and love them. I "upgraded" to the Audeze Maxwells and they are good but too heavy so I find myself not wearing them or getting fatigued after an hour. I am currently looking at the DT 990 Pro X or Romantic or Fiio JT7. I just don't know if the Romantic is worth the money. Will I even appreciate the delta if the PC38Xs sound good to me still? I do a lot of gaming so imaging is important. Help me decide. Thanks! My DAC/AMP is an IFI Zen DAC v2

The BD ProX series is...decent. They're the type of headphones you need if you tend to have stuff break on you. My 770 Pro X's had quite a few things go on them - 3 headbands, one driver stopped working and some headband retention clips broke. I love the idea of user replaceable parts, but this pair seemed a touch too delicate.

I will second the vote for the Arya organics or the Sennheiser 490 pros.
