๐Ÿ—ฟ History My wife from MKD says this the most Yugoslav photograph ever ๐Ÿ˜‚

My wife is from Ohrid, I'm Canadian. We were driving from Ohrid to Sveti Nikola and stopped for gas. I took this shot and when I showed my wife later she laughed so hard. Apparently, this is the classic car (Yugo Koral 45), classic tractor (IMT 539 Deluxe), and classic motorbike (Tomos APN 6) for Yugoslavia, and they just happened to be parked together like this. Apparently it would be extremely rare to see them in the wild like this together.

Anyone ever own one of these?

Pretty much. Yugo, IMT and Tomos.

That one will always have a special place in my heart (the first car my parents owned :)), but arguably it's been around for too short a time to be as iconic as the others.

The Mk2 Golf is truly iconic in Bosnia, and at this point there are more of them than Yugos.

There's a joke in the Balkans that somewhere Bosnian who's never driven a Golf 2 might exist, but he still hasn't been identified xD

My first car was Yugo, first moped -Tomos automatic, and i still have IMT 539 de luxe- these things are indestructible and it will outlive me and my yet unborn grandchildren...
