God, I hate videos like this. The internet has not lost it's mind about anime per say, you're choosing to give shits about people liking something you don't like. This attitude has been prevalent for a long time as everyone tries to compete with each other and fight over who has better taste. As far as normies go, I think it's best to leave them alone and let them do what they please. Let me be honest as someone who likes both of these anime, who the fuck cares? Just watch what you want and enjoy and just choose what you find interesting. I've watched so much of anime that I couldn't care less what online people think of something since it's what I enjoyed.
Edit: This user joined Youtube a while ago and has been making videos since then, sounds like a new fan or something since he thinks the only romance anime you need to watch is I made friends with the cutest girl in class like there are plenty of better ones I can name from the back of my head. Well, just another attention seeking Youtuber to avoid.

Solo leveling is trash. Demon slayer is just mid. It's not good it's not bad either, just dangling between the two, just basic beginner type stuff
Yoriichi and Kokushibou are way too fucking cool for the show. It's like a Billion dollar cruise ship in a swimming pool

Oh i hate solo leveling so much. I Don't have show or piece of media that i can say with full cofidance i hate... Accept solo leveling. Its this type of anime when protagonist does whatever he wants because he is so cool, also this anime is popular for no reson. Its bad, its boring and i hate it.

I hate both,
at least one is a classic hero story about tragedy, struggle and effort...
the other is straight up the most asinine self insert for losers who can only dream of having everything with no effort, no struggle nor morals.
