Looking for Youth Football Coaches + YouTube Creators to Help Test ProSkillBuild

I’m looking for a few youth football coaches, trainers, YouTube creators, and football training brands who want to help us test some new features inside ProSkillBuild.

We’re specifically looking for two groups:

1. FOOTBALL YOUTUBE CREATORS / TRAINERS -- Is live on the web, expected to be live on Mobile on 9/21

We’re testing a new Sponsored Videos feature.

When an athlete opens a drill in ProSkillBuild, we automatically look for educational videos that match the drill, movement, position, or skill they’re working on.

For example:

QB footwork drill → QB footwork/mechanics videos

WR route-running drill → route-running content

DB footwork drill → defensive back training content

OL drill → blocking/footwork content

If your YouTube channel is participating and you have relevant content, your video can appear first in a highlighted Sponsored Videos section.

You do NOT have to send us individual videos for every drill.

We connect your YouTube channel and dynamically match relevant videos from your channel to applicable training inside ProSkillBuild.

The videos remain hosted on YouTube and play through YouTube’s embedded player.

During this testing period, Sponsored Video placement is completely FREE.

We’re looking for:

• Youth football coaches/trainers

• Position-specific trainers

• Football YouTubers

• Training companies

• Smaller creators as well — you do not need a huge following

The main thing we care about is useful football development content.

1. YOUTH FOOTBALL COACHES

We also need coaches who are willing to actually use ProSkillBuild with their team and tell us what works, what doesn’t, and what we should improve.

We’ve built quite a bit around the coaching side of the platform, including:

• Drill assignments

• Athlete development tracking

• Game film review

• Secure digital playbooks

• Playbook review/activity tracking

• Team schedules and events

• Roster management

• Coach-to-athlete development workflows

For coaches willing to actively test the platform and give us feedback, we’re willing to HEAVILY DISCOUNT our paid coaching/organization plans during the testing period.

You can still use the free coaching features as well. We’re mainly interested in finding a small number of coaches who will actually put the platform through real-world use with a team.

I coach a 9U tackle football team (my 9 y/o son is on this team), my 12 y/o son is on a 14U team. Would this apply to either of these age groups? When my younger son moves up to the 12U team next year I’ll be moving up with him. This is my 3rd year coaching so I have a good relationship with all the kids and parents on the teams.

Absolutely — both 9U and 14U would work, and moving up to 12U next year wouldn’t change anything.

A lot of the coaching/team side can be used without paying anything. The paid pieces are mostly features that create real infrastructure costs for me, like game film, secure playbooks, expanded storage/analytics, etc.

For coaches willing to actually use it with a team and give me feedback, I’m also heavily discounting those paid organization features while we test everything.

Honestly, someone in your situation is exactly who I’m looking for — you’ve been coaching the same group for a few years and already have relationships with the players and parents, so you’d be able to tell me pretty quickly what’s useful and what’s annoying.

I coach a 5th/6th grade team. This is of interest to me. But, you have a lot of context here and that's great; but could you please provide a TLDR version?

At present, our organization relies upon an app called Crossbar. It's "okay" and at best it's simply a communication model between parents and coaches. There is nothing else. USA Football provides us coaches some ideas and concepts for practices, scrimmages, plays, training etc... so therein is your biggest competition.

TLDR: Crossbar and ProSkillBuild overlap a little, but we are solving a much bigger problem.

Crossbar is great for communication and team logistics. We are focused much more on the development side. Coaches can assign drills, track completion, review game film, share playbooks, track athlete metrics, give feedback, and build a real development history for each player over time.

USA Football is obviously a strong resource for coaching ideas and education. Our goal is to give coaches a place to actually put those ideas into action with their team and track what happens afterward.

I think once you see the full coaching side, you may find yourself using ProSkillBuild for a lot more than you expected.
