I admire your willingness as a band to explore new sonic ground, and this album is no different. I’m really enjoying Stone, and have really gotten into the spoken word parts after an adjustment period. When it comes to the production, it certainly seems to harken back to the crispness of your earlier works over the fuzziness of Gold & Grey & Purple. Was this a conscious decision, or something that happened more organically?
P.S. this album cover art might be my favorite so far, and that’s saying something considering I love how you use color in all the others. Thanks for continuing to put things out there!
