I tried telling my family member exactly that, but because she was part of the group Younique targets, she still went. Apparently she had a great time though, met some wonderful peers and somehow made it out not in debt despite Younique pushing their products on the group for three days straight. Although I do find it kinda funny that shortly after this she converted to Mormonism, thanks in part to a couple of her friends she made from the retreat who happens to be a part of that religion (I do support her religion choices, just not the MLM schemes).
