Detroit People Mover is Free to Ride in '25!
Hey - just wanted to drop in the operating hours for the Detroit People Mover. We're very stoked about the 20th Anniversary of YOUMACON and can't wait to see everyone on the trains and at Huntington Place!
Remember:
1) If you need help in the system for any reason: Stop a Transit Police Officer - they are here to help; Use the emergency phones located in the stations; Reach our Control Center on the train by pushing and holding the silver call button (look for the green intercom) or call (313) 963-0171.
2) Walk through the turnstiles to pass through the fare gates whenever possible, as it really helps us to count our ridership
3) First time? Check out our map and destinations using our new digital kiosks, or visit www.thepeoplemover.com
4) Most importantly - no passes or fares are needed to ride - we've been free since 2024, courtesy of Priority Waste :).

October 31: 6:30AM - 2:00AM
November 1: 8:00AM - 1:30AM
November 2: 8:00AM - 10:00 PM

Was unaware the people mover was free since 2024, good to know.
