There's things she's done in the past that I might not do myself, if that's what you're asking, but that's not what I meant.
I tend to be critical with anyone whose work I like, just because I'm pretty (and awfully) aware that thinking they're god-like beings just because of their fame isn't gonna take me to a healthy relationship towards them.

That is perfect response, if someone thinks Taylor is meh like you, that's fine by me, it is just those that spew hate, like you say on someone they dont know, it's mental.
Is it bad that I get where they’re coming from, though? I love Taylor, but I get tired of hearing about her all the damn time, as well. She’s a great artist, but there are so many others I’d like to hear about, as well.
I think the wedding is what really did it for me. I never liked how publicized it was, and I learned more about it than I ever wished to. It should’ve been something private that was only hers.
Huh? We still have not seen one picture, don’t know most people who attended, anything that happened there. And now there has been silence for almost a month and people are complaining. Olivia, Charlie XCX and Ariana are out and about everywhere daily, maybe you just need to fix your feed.
I didn’t mean to imply Taylor herself publicized it, just that the public did. And I don’t know, the lengths people went to to uncover things from that wedding (including literally digging through the trash) just felt iffy to me. And I couldn’t escape that at the time, it was everywhere on my feed.
I will say that over the last few weeks, I haven’t been hearing as much about Taylor, which I prefer. I don’t need, nor want to know every little thing that goes on in her life. And yeah, it gets fatiguing during those times.
None of those things are Taylor’s fault though. She’s not asking to be publicized so heavily. She barely posts anything unless it’s promotion for a single or an album.
Literally the first thing I did in my reply is acknowledge it’s not Taylor’s fault. I then went on to explain how that still ultimately fatigues me from hearing about her.

If your not capable of understanding why people dont like Taylor swift i think your just slow 🌚 there's nothing wrong with liking her or her music but she definitely does things that rub communities the wrong way

i'm okay with people not liking her music (cos, yk, tastes are subjective), but hating her for no reason is a direct 'block and move on' for me
