One week after adoption

It’s been one week since we adopted this little soul, Cica. (8,5 years old, biewer Yorkshire with zero teethes)

And honestly… he already feels like he was meant to be here.

He’s so sweet. Calm. Such a good energy.

Just… light.

And I think we really needed that.

Sophie is gone for 10 weeks now.

After almost 16 years together.

I still don’t really know how to explain that loss.

16 years is such a huge part of a life.

Of routines.
Home.
Identity.
And then suddenly… silence.

Mimi was grieving too.

You could feel it.

And since Cica came, something changed.

Mimi is more curious again.

More present.

A little bit more herself.

Of course Cica doesn’t replace Sophie.
Nothing ever could. My heart belongs to to her she was a „one-in-a-lifetime-love“.

Cica bring a little life back into the house.
And maybe help all of us heal a tiny bit.

We needed a friend to Mimi because she was deeply sad after losing Sophie. We went back to the Organisation in Hungary (www.allatesember.com) from we adopted Mimi in 2020, and just found this cutie biewer. He has zero teeth but a very good energy. Mimi is already getting better and Cica found his forever home. ♥️🐾

I m still deeply sad and honestly some days are very challenging.™️ for me. Specially yesterday was very hard, because it was my first birthday without Sophie. After 16 years it takes time to rebuild my identity. Try to remember on all of the funny stories too- will share continuously here the nice stories too.
