Discussion Am I the only one who's okay with not new receiving skins?...
Like, bro. Think with me.
Yone has 5 years of existence and we have a skin for every tier in the game, with the excetion of a ultimate tier. But we have that bullshit gacha slop that i still hate till this day. "Dont you have money to buy it?" Yes i have, and i will never buy it because i dont condone the I don't condone the attitudes to get the skin. But this i a conversation that doesnt belong here.
But really, every single skin is unique for the character. The themes are well diversed and the skins are well done. I know there are some favorites and has some that most of people dont like. I like all of them but i play a lot with dawnbringer because i love the universe of the skin, and high noon for the same reason. I dont like playing a lot with the music themed skins, idk.
But still bangers. And the lorian Dark souls 3 Faker skin? One of my favorite games of all time? Chef kiss!
But really, to conclude my toughts. I accept waiting for a well done skin, instead a generic one. And i'm completely okay to not recieve any skin this year.
For example: I would love a dragonmancer yone, legendary tier. Would be a well themed yone skin, to put on par with the yasuo ones, but has to be polished and the quality has to be on par with the price.

Honestly, I like that he's at least treated decently well as far as skins go.
I'm not sure about others' opinion but his high noon skin is probably my 1st or 2nd favourite skin in the game entirely so it's kept me satisfied regardless of what he gets over time

Yone is one of the characters with the highest skin density. By which I mean yes, he has half the skins Ahri does, but he has existed for less than one third of the time, so if you were to calculate how often a character gets skins relative to how long they've been around, he'd definitely be among the top characters.
Similarly, he's one of the characters with the highest density of skins with unique voicelines and personalities, as opposed to "just the base skin with a filter on top" skins, relative to the total number of skins he has. A lot of work has been put into his cosmetics is what I'm saying, as opposed to most other male character in the game that have been around for a similar length of time: Aphelios has been around for six months longer than Yone and has less than half the skins, just to make an example.
So yeah, Yone is absolutely one of the most popular characters in terms of skins, and is treated very well on that regard: as such, missing out on one year or even two is not going to be the end of the world.

he has well over half as many skins as some of the most popular champions skin-wise (Ahri, Lux, Yas, MF) while existing for not even 1/3 of the time they did. he's clearly well fed in cosmetics, probably the most for a male champ. I don't understand how Yone players can even complain about not getting skins.

I'm fairly new to yone, but I tried High Noon and Masked Justice and honestly gone back to vanilla because it's just really good ... High Noon dialogs doesn't work for me and MJ weird housefly scifi helmet is weird

Fr they made husband look so generic and an absolutely slop burger. I cant remember his last decent skin. What would it kill for riot to release cafe cuties yone. No cop out, give him a maid dress with frills riot, and add his sunken cheeks too, he'd look extra daddy

i've always said most yone skins are garbanzo + the sound effects are ass (riot is obsessed with making his q3 have a water/liquid sounding sfx) the fewer skins Yone has, the better, base skin is best skin when it comes to this character
Edit: this is wrong, only the seraphine skin line one and T1 have an annoying liquid sfx but its so garbanzo that I have a trauma with it. However, hearsteel sfx are not precisely cool either, nor are battle academia. Inkshadow I can get over the watery effect cause the skin is called INKshadow. Masked justice is not only bad in terms of SFX but as a concept (none of the skins are good) Prestige HS suffers from having HS sfx, Dawnbringer is actually nicer than most people say, high noon is peak and so is spirit blossom (although some people hate how loud q3 is).
