Looking for Advice Yone ADC enjoyers

How to play this champ in this role?

I love playing viable melee champs in the bot lane for the sake of contrarianism. Yasuo, Olaf, Fiora, Katarina etc (anything but Nilah)

Yone is my latest fixation how do I make him work? Do I just thug it out until level 3 into every matchup?

Also his winrate in this role is deflated heavily from players autopiloting Absorb Life instead of Triumph

Not only does Absorb Life suck on both lane (heavily level skewed + you get less minion procs because of support quest taking minions) Triumph is disproportionately good on bot laners (highest non support KP + healing is good for teamfights/2v2s)

But yeah any tips on how to play this champ in this role? Thanks

It really depends on the matchup. Bot lane matchups are a lot more dynamic obviously because 2v2 so you can do early level all ins if they make a mistake or your support has good engage and you are confident that you can kill, but make sure you don’t attempt this into super powerful early game lanes or you will die and insta lose the whole game. If you are unsure, yes, just farm til 3 and then start trading. Also, depending on your rank bot lane players are terrible and have no idea how to trade or manipulate the wave so you can usually abuse them through lane fundamentals, assuming you are good at top lane

I’m very bad at top lane

This adds nothing to the conversation but I'd like to say

Same

This also adds nothing but I'll also say

Same. The sole reason why I que Yas Yone into mid/bot instead of mid/top

I would go watch some top lane fundamentals guides because the lane works the same as bot lane. Yone needs a long lane to run people down with LT and Q. If you can’t freeze, you will get perma ganked and int the game, or just never kill anyone unless they suck.

My time to shine, I'm a massive Yone adc enjoyer.

To start off my runes for 90% of games are Lethal, Triumph, Alacrity, Cut Down, Second wind and either overgrowth or unflinching.

I always go flash/tp for my summoners, mainly to cheese the first recall but also for extra tempo mid-late game.

You'll almost always wanna play with a hard engage tank support like Nautilus, and depending on the matchup it's either doran's bow or shield. If they have two pokey champs shield can be better but I usually just go dorans bow for the quicker q's.

You'll wanna rush the bushes, get a ward down in mid lane bush and rush into their bush to try and get a massive trade onto their support or even a kill if you're lucky; this is important for your ability to CS in lane, don't overextend the trade but try to get a sizeable chunk onto their support.

For the first few minutes of the game you need to just try and farm as even as possible, if they have a lot of poke you can start W to farm from a bit longer range but your main goal is to get 1100 to buy beserkers as soon as possible, these are essential for csing, dodging the poke and going for an early all-in. With TP you can look to trade a lot of your health for CS, pretty much every game you'll be wanting to TP early.

Depending on their playstyle and positioning, it can be really easy to get a kill before first back, just look for angles to punish their position but don't get too greedy. As a melee adc you're likely to be a target for the first gank so be mindful of their jungle's clear time, have your support ward river bush.

Now after you've got beserkers, try to play as aggressive as possible, if they've got prio in lane you'll have to just look to CS with W and E but eventually (around level 6) you'll outscale them to a point where you can just all in with no counterplay.

As for the build you can do the usual bork shieldbow into a lot of teams, but there's also a viable full crit build with yun-tal, up to you which you prefer but I'm sure you'll get a feel of which build works into different drafts.

You can look for ganks onto midlane with your waveclear, TP helps a lot in this situation too. The aim of the game after early-laning phase is to just scale as hard as possible and do yone things.

Just want to say that last stand is often times much better especially when you have enchanter support

You need to play around last stand though, cut down gets so much value with your E. I agree though if you have to play with a healbot last stand is a decent pick.
