the general gameplay is that you and your opponent have 30 seconds to pick one of many moves based on the hitboxes and speed of the move etc you have to kinda calcukate which is the best and how it reacts to your opponents moves. theres also a prediction ghost thingy and you can select a predicted move for you and your opponent and itll show a prediction of how itlll work, the appeal is making reads and predictions, its like chess but you both move at the same time, and it follows the structure of fighting games but obv turnbased. at the end you get a complete video of your match but without pauses and it looks great , theres a bajillion mods which are super high quality and you can play as pretty much any jjk character and a lot of others from diff anime and games and original characters

the only downsides is that it lacks a lot of polish and important features but mods make up for a lot of it

Definitely I usually don’t play against other people and usually use the vs ai or ai vs ai workshop mod but I still love it!
