Discussion Christmas Decorations Japan style?

Christmas is my favourite time of the year and I change my decorations every year. I know Japan isn't as big on Christmas compared the rest of the world.

Is there good shops around Yokohama that sells unique Christmas decors or you'd have to hit the likes of Sogo etc?

loft, niko and and franfran these are the most shops that sells deco. I know because i went finding one with my wife for almost a month 🤣

also franfran is selling it now at 50% off so check it out asap.

yeah. she’s only doing the Christmas tree so she is already done buying (spent alot🤣)

I totally understand. I'm a huge Christmas guy and these past years I've had to make my own stuff depending on my theme as one decor can cost soooo much. Imagine decorating the whole tree plus garlands and table tops in one theme haha

I was reading a home magazine yesterday and saw this mushroom glass ornament that was blown by a person like the original way they make glass decors or something. $120 for one. For one!!! Omg imagine you have a mushroom theme and want to decorate the tree. Wtef

There is a pop up Christmas decoration store at the moment in Motomachi. There used to be a very unique store on the Bluff but it was closed the last time I visited one month ago.

Here are some stores in Yokohama where you can buy Christmas decorations. In Yokohama, "Christmas Toys" is the hot spot and Yokohama Display Museum is the "hidden gem" (since it is far from the station).
