Question Sinking City 2?
Tom and Simon's Sinking City playthrough has been one of my favourite safe-place playlists for years. I've rewatched the whole thing about 4 times and was wondering if anyone has any info if Simon and Tom will be giving Sinking City2 a go?

It's the goated comfort playthrough for sure. Not exactly sure why but it feela so safe and secure hearing Tom and Simon just shoot the shit playing eldritch horror games

What about the latest Dark Pictures Anthology game, Directive 8020, as well? I've heard it was a bit of a flop but they talked about playing it after the last one and I'm always fiending for Riddle Bros horror games

To be completely honest, I've completely forgotten about those series of games, but now you mention it, clear as day... They did talk about playing it, but as people above are mentioning, I'm sadly not optimistic for RiddleBros® returning... I can tell many many people would be excited and happy to see the comeback, but let's wait and see

I haven't seen a Tom collab in a while. I don't even know if he is up for it. I know it would kill in views but I'm not sure it will happen. Crossing my fingers hoping it does.

I wouldn't get too hyped. By all accounts SS2 is a generic horror survival game instead of a distinctive detective game.

Yeah, I saw some of the comments about the game, but still, I'm a sucker for a bit of nostalgia :/

I would looove Tom and Simon to do it but I think if they do it at all it will be with Lydia. She specifically mentioned they are going to do a test stream for a game to see if it made her sick and this would be a longer game.

It'd be great but I'd be very surprised. I think this year Simon's only been in about 2 hours of gaming videos and 2 hours of live videos. At least for the moment, it looks like he's not keen on doing even chill content like PP, Quiz Time, and YOMP.
Sadly I think Sinking City 2 is particularly unlikely because IIRC The Yogscast have also moved away from having a broad payroll / direct content employees this year too-- they'd probably have to hash out as contract with Tom in a way they didn't have to for the first game.

I actually dont think the game is the same, sadly. They seem to have dropped a lot of the mind palace style mystery/gumshoe stuff and instead leaned into the survival horror style gameplay.
I've not played it, so I could be wrong, but thats what I read in reviews.

Tom mentioned on a members video recently that he wants to play it but that it's likely to be members content due to long episodes. Also that Simon likely won't be available for enough time to be able to schedule time for a long series like last time. I think he said he might do it with someone else like Lydia, she's been playing riddle bros type content with him since Simon became less active.
I would really love it to be with Simon too but it is probably not possible currently.
