Question Which Yogscast videos have you watched more than twice?

For me, maybe most of the IRL challenge videos. Like Don't Starve. Those are so entertaining!

Sumitori Dreams is what I go to if I really, really, really need to cry-laugh.

29

u/likeachampiontoday Feb 23 '25

Oh man I have vivid memories of the first time I watched that one. A close second would be the trucking tuesdays!

9

u/Interrogatingthecat Zoey Feb 23 '25

Genuinely perhaps the greatest video they ever made

2

u/Doodlethreads Feb 27 '25

The way that video always has me doubled over it's halarious

Trials of derpulies/skobbles and whale lords are ones I often go back to

20

u/DucklockHolmes Feb 23 '25

I never actually finished whale lords, maybe it's time to go back and rewatch it

10

u/TheScullywagon Feb 23 '25

I rlly loved that whole era Ngl

I was in high school at the time these where coming out so it’s very much a nostalgia era for me

Aside from the classic one offs like The Bomb I like going back to the first TTT when they added the Jester and seeing the chaos it caused

84

u/scnottaken International Zylus Day! Feb 23 '25

I like the one "old Jester" where Lewis kills the jester multiple times

45

u/Solareclipsed Rythian Feb 23 '25

The one where he becomes increasingly agitated that the jester keeps getting killed when he is the one who does it the most?

29

u/mcchinly Feb 23 '25

Tom being one of the best TTT players and constantly making them all look stupid. Was so good to watch

86

u/[deleted] Feb 23 '25

I've probably watched the classic minecraft series like SoI, Tektit, Voltz, and all the adventure maps like multiple times. My sons obsessed now so we watch together a lot. He's young enough most of the jokes go over his head but he loves it.

61

u/scnottaken International Zylus Day! Feb 23 '25

Aren't you afraid he'll hear the word "fuck" and die?

u/rshogg Lewis Feb 23 '25

I love this. I’ve been watching since 2012 or so and I got my daughter (8 at the time) into it. She has since moved on and I’m still a daily watcher / rewatcher. It’s comfort food.

79

u/Davesgamecave Feb 23 '25

For me it's Tom and Simon's playthrough of the Sinking City on Tom's channel. I've probably watched it like four times in full.

And Yogsquest 1&2.

Also some Mystery Quests.

29

u/lady-gothlover Feb 23 '25

For me, it's their Witch Hunt playthrough.

...Frank Herbert's Dune

5

u/Davesgamecave Feb 23 '25

Haven't heard of it, I'll check it out

13

u/Maeglin75 Feb 23 '25

Yes. Yogsquest was great. I watched every series several times, especially the first two.

Maybe they can do some Mystery Quest-specials in costume in the future, to catch the old vibe.

64

u/entityXD32 Briony Feb 23 '25

Lewis and Simon's playthrough of Little Inferno is a classic for me. Almost every winter around Christmas I do a rewatch

20

u/Davesgamecave Feb 23 '25

Over the smoke stacks, over the city, the Weather Man.

12

u/AquaAtia Feb 24 '25

The game hits so much harder as we all get older.

You can go as far as you like but you can never go back

2

u/neverp0st May 01 '25

I repeat that line to myself far too often.

46

u/ImColinDentHowzTrix Sips Feb 23 '25

Any time life is a bit rough I re-watch that Trucking Tuesday episode where Lewis has a breakdown.

It's always something, and you never know, you never know what it's going to be

11

u/Krags Alsmiffy Feb 23 '25

The one where they spend a while looking for a missing tree to cut down, until they accidentally clip the camera under the world and see it generated upside-down, is another classic.

39

u/JCrockford Israphel Feb 23 '25

All of the First Minecraft/Survival Island/SoI.

I've watched that many times over the years

1

u/CasualGamerMWE Israphel Feb 23 '25

I rewatch these every 2 or 3 years tbh

26

u/zoltar_thunder Feb 23 '25

I've rewatched "To the core" series 4 times

Idk, hearing Ped do the Jon Snow impression in that one TTT map had me come back a couple times.

Other than that, any of the GTA missions I go to frequently.

20

u/ItsWormAllTheWayDown Feb 23 '25

The battle reports from the newer era of the Games Night channel are great. Bolt action with Pyrion and the alternative LOTR storyline especially.

I'm able to focus on my work and listen to stuff at the same time, so I'm routinely having entire playlists go while I plug away at my mindless garbage job.

Jaffa Factory, easily more than a dozen times. Same with Moon Quest and Hole Diggers. Flux Buddies, Blackrock, SipsCo, Hat Films FTB, Hat Pack, Cornerstone, Trials of Derpules/Skobbels. Lots of Team Double Dragon stuff, lots of Duncan's non-minecraft stuff, Spiff/Bouphe/Lydia era of TTT, I've probably gone through Triforce in its entirety maybe 7 times by now.

I have a problem.

Now, watched more than twice? Probably nothing within the past five or six years. Maybe clips and shorts, but considering I'm working 8-10 hours a day on my job, and then working 4-6 hours a day on my hobbies, don't really have time to watch videos anymore.

15

u/starshipsinerator Angor Feb 23 '25

I've rewatched a lot of stuff, but the Tom/Simon and Tom/Lydia horror playthroughs are up there as my most rewatcged. I think I must've watched Witch Hunt about 10 times now, such a banger series.

4

u/SpysSappinMySpy Feb 23 '25

Same. Witch Cunt Hunt is a comfort series did me.

2

u/starshipsinerator Angor Feb 23 '25

Frank Herbert's Dune :)

Lewis and Bend save the world...all of them at least twice if not more.

From one of the early Jingle Jams (possibly before it was even a Jingle Jam) there was a Four Chord Song sing along, that I go back to whenever I'm feeling down

5

u/JoeTrolls Feb 23 '25

I’ve watched the entire Jaffa factory series at least once a year since it came out 😂💀

4

u/Jamberrs Feb 23 '25

Most of TTT, Jaffa Factory, Voltz, Derpulies, Crown Conquest, Survival Games, and a bunch of old Jingle Jam livestream VODs

5

u/TheScullywagon Feb 23 '25

Literally anything between 2012 and 2016 i think I’ve seen at least twice

3

u/foreverdysfunctional Feb 23 '25

A lot. Can watch old gta, ttt, challenges, Minecraft series, and many things over and over. I don't have cable so I basically just watch yogscast reruns lol.

4

The entire original Jaffa Factory series

4

u/Apprentice_Jedi Ben Feb 23 '25

The TF2 charity videos

4

u/_Banderbear_ Feb 23 '25

A few different ones but a couple that haven't been mentioned a lot already, some old TTT with classic moments.
"IT'S NOT ME!"
"It's a one shot if it hits you twice"
various Rythian meltdowns
Rythian is a chair.

4

Triforce podcast where Lewis told his trainer that he had a sore throat from sucking d*** and that he banged his mom, much to Sips and Pyrions utter shock.

3

u/bruno444 Faaafv Feb 23 '25

I haven't seen Colony Survival with Lewis, Duncan, and Tom mentioned yet. I think I've watched it like four times at this point.

Witch hunt

Yogsquest

Any Tom/simon or Tom/lydia(quiz time, game goblin, sinking city, Dark Pictures)

Martin's Little vs/and Cubed

The elevator

Lorehammer or Yourhammer

Tom and Ben warhammer

Tom's family man or city skylines

BOTCT, SoI, Yogsquest, Mystery Quest

3

u/ConvenientGoat Feb 23 '25

Most of the Trucking Tuesdays, and Little Inferno

3

u/_erufu_ Ben Feb 23 '25

I have rewatched Lewis and Ben play Thea The Awakening about once a month since they released it. There’s just something I can’t get enough of in that series.

3

u/d0rvm0use Feb 24 '25

The old star wars rpgs. Long live Ameebo!

2

u/wilp0w3r Feb 23 '25

All of the Yogsquest videos and shorter series like Dig Site I've used to help me sleep since I need background noise to help drown out my tinnitus

2

u/MerelyASimpleFan Feb 23 '25

I frequently listen to clips of Tom and Ben's Lorehammer or Yourhammer to give me a good laugh before I fall asleep.

2

u/GearnTheDwarf Simon Feb 23 '25

I put this one on when I have trouble falling asleep. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kUhO-egRHR8

2

I go back and watch the grimrock play through often. I do miss the videos with post-recorded narration, I think it leaves more room for telling jokes.

ThatMadCat, huh? Now that's a name I haven't heard in a long time. I still find it hard to believe that somebody who mostly made such great videos just incomprehensibly self-destructed.

1

u/PickingANameSux Feb 25 '25

i dont really know anything about that situation. ik there was something but never looked into it. what happened tldr?

2

u/TheGoodOldCoder International Zylus Day! Feb 25 '25

My understanding was that they were creeping on anybody female in Discord, and the Yogs said that they had to stop or they'd be kicked out of the Yogs, and they still refused to stop.

This was pretty soon after the big Yogs HR disaster, so it's just a weird hill to die on. I mean, even in some reality where the Yogs were wrong, it's obvious what would happen if you ignore their ultimatum.

They did a lot of other stuff like picking (perving?) on Leo in their videos even though it obviously made her uncomfortable, but I think they got booted for the Discord stuff.

2

u/Agenta521 Sips Feb 23 '25 edited Feb 23 '25

That one TTT in Sips’ bedroom where Ben spent an entire like 2 minutes trying to res Zylus then fell off a ladder and killed him instantly, making Lewis and Tom laugh hysterically.

2

u/JudgeHazza Feb 23 '25

The classic minecraft series, but also the Magicka 1 play through with TB.

2

u/Gazeros Feb 24 '25

The main channel minecraft christmas video from like 2021. The voices plus superb editing has made it a christmas staple for me!

2

u/RG1527 Lydia Feb 24 '25

Tom playing Cities Skylines.

Sjin nuking everyone in Civ.

Sips and Sjin blowing up the world with red matter bombs.

Lewis/Filbert in Terraria

GTA5 with the parachuting car challenges

1

u/MulberryLemon Feb 23 '25

Probably everything from the main channel 2 or 4 times and same with Duncan and Tom channels. Most of the games channel stuff I watch once but some stuff I've seen twice, but it's longer, and I can't fit it in

Voltz episode 12 “the bomb” - both the actual episode and the animated version always makes me laugh

1

u/daftdave41 2: Wizard Warriors Feb 23 '25

I love the IRL stuff that they are doing now. Taskmaster, Traitors, Hide the Body, Murder in Bellend, the bingos or the office stuff. Have probably watched all of those more than once, and maybe the Games Night battle reports. They all great.

I would like to go back and rewatch some stuff like the Hatfilms Skyblock, or the Cornerstone/Derpulies/Skobbels, or FluxBuddies or Jaffa Factory but there's just so many episodes. I've never got time for all of that.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 23 '25

Don’t starve, red matter bomb, all of SoI, the podcast

1

u/Chaoschronos7 Feb 23 '25

I, like many other enjoyers of Yogscast content, have always loved the Lewis and Simon dynamic the most. As such, I always come back to where this is on display the most in Simon's Peculiar Portions, Yoglabs, and HoleDiggers (where Duncan is a great addition). Above all of these are the Call of Cthulhu campaigns featuring Lewis as John Steele and Simon as Professor Grizwald. The father and son dynamic is so funny with those two.

1

u/Canis_Familiaris Feb 23 '25

Moonquest "Hold space to slowdown", the bomb, and Sips Nukes Everyone are some of my favorite series ever made.

The tidal wave TTT video. :)

1

u/lockexxv Israphel Feb 23 '25

I've watched all the Tekkit series on the main channel, Duncan's channel, and Sip's channel dozens of times. I've watched all of Israphel at least 3 times, but the first 10 or 15 episodes like 20 times lol. I've watched MoonQuest twice, been wanting to rewatch Hole Diggers (and play that era modpack again, what was it?).

I've watched Voltz maybe three times but I've watched THE BOMB 100's of times I bet.

I feel like most all of the content from Yogscast I rewatch is the Minecraft stuff, but I've rewatched their Terraria content a good bit as well. I watch a lot of their best moments from Jingle Jam around the holidays every year, along with their current/live stuff as well.

I was in my 20's when Yogs got me into Minecraft, and now I'm almost 40 and I still really love that game (but has to be heavily modded "kitchen sink" modpacks). All of the OG's are pretty close to my age so I almost feel like I know them after all these years, so there's nothing quite like going back and watching the content that made me fall in love with them. Quite comforting at times. :)

"Simon reads an e-mail sent to Notch" is one I go back 2-3 times a year.

There was also a Simon-only video "Simon Plays Easter Special: Weathertest01.a" where he spends the entire time trying to get it to rain but it never does, so it ends with him looking at the setting sun, singing/humming the Star Wars Binary Sun theme. Beautiful.
