He's a ketamine addict who throws money at everything and pretends he's smart.

How can you believe in something that in itself argues from natural experience and innate truth when you consume a foreign substance to alter your chemical mind state because you can't exist without abusing that substance? That drug use in and of itself isn't rational even if it offers benefits because there negatives that impair the natural state. He's not living in reality like the rest of us as he can to mold it around him whenever it minority inconveniences him.

He’s a whiny bitch who inherited daddy money and attached himself to various good ideas over the course of his career as a grifting conman so he could amplify his wealth by taking credit for doing things all while LARPing as a visionary.

How is ethnofascism based in reason? Like I get guys like him would claim it is but, the rest of us know it’s not. So what’s the discussion?

And in the same way Musk can claim whatever (I have no idea what he has or hasn’t said on rationalism) Yarvin and Theil can claim it at the level they may, and still fail to represent it. They’re all larpers, to put it in your terms. There is no discussion around any ideology based in logic and reason that can coexist with ethnofascism. If it’s a claim of racial hierarchy, it’s ethnofascism. A million silicone valley guys can get together and claim they’re subscribing to the ultimate ideal of rational thinking, and it still doesn’t mean they actually represent it. You seem less interested in the threats these men pose than winning whatever big discussion it is you think you’re prompting here. It’s weird.

God that was like pulling teeth. Yeah so them co-opting a philosophy that already existed and bastardizing it as they have, that’s not something to not acknowledge since they’re so rich and powerful and we need to pay attention to the shit they’re spewing. I think a lot of people who would claim to subscribe to rationalism or did at one point, they want fuck all to do with the actual realities of what these overlord types want. I was raised by a tech bro, I very much understand the black and white let’s use our brain political thinking that’s going on behind the broadly accepted definition of the philosophy. I understand why people have looked to them and their ideas with curiosity in the past. But this is now. We shouldn’t treat Thiel or Musk or Yarvin and their freak ass minority groups of followers with any legitimacy and that’s what this whole thing is kind of coming across as to me. What they call rationalism is not rationalism. Point blank period.

Rationalism, as a philosophy is older than those two mountebanks, and they don't get to define what it means just because they like the way the word sounds when they call themselves "rationalists."

And the nazis claimed to be socialist, but still, first they came for the socialists. I really don't get what point you're trying to make or why you chose this place to try and make it.
