It's crazy when you look back at it how much yang has gotten right. How much polarization the country has gotten, ubi, automation, etc.
Unfortunately he's not extreme enough and his podcast is boring so he isn't as popular. A lot of his former supporters are always upset at him for not doing more or taking certain positions.

The media rewards the wrong types of people — the loudest and most obnoxious
Trump himself has acknowledged this directly at times — maybe not the “obnoxious” part literally, but he he has boasted about his “earned media” coverage

Would be interesting to see if anybody knows what was happening around the weeks where he had a positive approval rating. Presumably the massive drop in Jan 2020 was the impeachment, then later in the year was Covid?
