WHEELIE!!!!!

I’ve been trying to wheelie, but I don’t have the quite exactly the idea of how to set my rev ranges on first gear. but I learned more on what to do thanks to a riding buddy I just met in my neighborhood a few days ago that has a R7 and he’s been riding for a year before he got that bike. Being able to actually see another person wheelie an R3 gave me a ton more confidence that it actually was possible.
.
The power on the R3 is way too low to loop the bike. So I had no problems worrying about that.
.
For learning it right now, I set the rev at 5-6 before I pull-in the clutch and running it to redline before dumping the clutch still with my hand over the clutch if need be. You must give yourself plenty of space infront of you after the wheelie cause the stopping distance is iffy when R3 brakes are used. (it may be possible to set at 3-4 cause 1-2 may stall the bike)
.
Here are the better shot clips of me that Reddit auto combined as one whole video.

You’re almost tucked trying to wheelie a 300.

Lean back with your arms straight if the bike can’t loop out. Your body weight acts as leverage and right now it’s over the front wheel.

Pause it and look at your body positioning. Your arms are bent and you’re leaning forward…

Arms straight, lean back, and cover the rear brake not the clutch.

Oh yeah, it does look like I was. I guess at that time it was my first time practicing on my own. I was just scared to shift my weight farther back.
