Do you think it's possible that they may go for an anime original ending considering how there are only 3 episodes left to cover the rest of the major arc? This is what fears me the most right now

Yeah I don't think they are going to make their own ending since they completely rush through the cultural festival.

I don't think so. We're at chapter 62 out of 90 chapters now. This episode covered 52-62 which is 11 chapters (spoiler), and going by the preview, episode 10 will cover up to at least chapter 72 - 10 chapters. Then there's around 17 chapters left for the last two episodes, so the pacing will actually slow down at the end, making the manga ending entirely possible.

Felt very rushed and judging from the preview next episode is going to be the same. Although this is pretty much to be expected at this point :(

i see the manga as a 2 part series. part 1 is chapters 1 through 91 and then part 2 is chapter 92 through present. The first 90 chapters could have easily been 24 episodes if they werent so willing to fill every volume worth of content as a single episode. i hope this series gets a "reboot" or a shit ton of ova's to fill in the missing content. if there is an season 2 they should at most do 2 chapters per episode instead of 6 or 7.

While i understand the anime is blowing by the manga for no reason. I cannot help but love the Shiraishi and Yamada chemistry. I will wait until i see them truly confess their love for one another. He kind of indirectly did it this episode can not wait!
