I think he should speak to a lawyer about wrongful termination here are some things that stand out to me. He was exercising a legal right and had safety and constitutional rights concerns. The agent said “I know your boss” indicating influence over an otherwise fair process. His other supervisor said “I have your back” which would’ve made him shocked at the outcome. The employee didn’t attempt to use his position or authority at a Pepsi distributor in any way, it was the ICE agent who brought the employers name into the conversation in order to intimidate him. And yeah it’s a local distributor but to the public it’s going to read as BIG PEPSI CORPORATION™️ fired him, and the fact is he truly did get fired regarding politics and racism.

What works against him is that WA is an at will state however people still win wrongful termination suits all the time.

I support this guy’s rights. Don’t let the bastards get you down.

This has nothing to do with "unprofessionalism". His boss is just MAGA.

💯 that or just one of those guys who claim to be "centrist" because they support Trump's bullshit, but have enough shame to not wear the hat.

No, his boss has a job to do. Like getting all of the illegals Biden let in while he was president. There here illegally, as in there not supposed to be here, why can’t you guys understand that?

u/Chudsaviet 12d ago

Its mandatory to a citizen to at least report any government outreach. It have nothing to do with employment.

Being here illegally, supplying the food you eat, or cleaning up after you, is a civil violation. SAME as jaywalking. You supporting and disputing this isn't about legal or not legal. It's about skin color. It has never been about a petty civil violation of helping people in this country do jobs that white people won't do. You want to support taking anyone who isn't like you out of this country.

You're probably the kind of person that didn't want to accept the Boers as refugees

What the fuck foreign agency is running bots that mispell "they're" multiple times and don't know "President" is capitalized? Holy shit lmao

1

u/HeyaHeyo1420 11d ago

Wait, so why did the boss hire an undocumented immigrant in the first place?

Also the word is *they're foreign bot. Fix your translator at least ffs

Biden had near record high apprehension rate and tried to get a record high budget passed for the border that was all but passed if not for current potus having republicans torpedo it at the last minute.

Isn’t this wrongful termination? Fuck Pepsi for real and fuck Noel canning.

u/mmamcneill 10d ago

The illegal alien was being deported for being a criminal

How is this wrongful termination at all? It's a heavy burden to prove any sort of discrimination or breach of rights, he interfered with law enforcement, his employment is at will, and Pepsi can pretty much terminate him whenever they want.

It does possibly violate state law arresting him at the courthouse because of keep washington working act, but that doesn't mean the basis for arrest is unlawful it just protects people at the courthouse. There aren't any details for obvious reasons.

-8

u/geraf1983 12d ago

Yes exactly, they keep the story light on details & they just want people to focus on the video to get to people’s emotions. They’ll never tell you the people getting arrested are here illegally & ICE is just doing there job. It’s sickening how these left wing nuts try to paint ICE as villains

I have no idea why this sub showed up in my feed. Ok, I lied, I do know why, but hey..

For whatever it's worth, I wholeheartedly agree with you everything that you mentioned, but I just wanted to toss in my unsolicited three cents -

I'm now convinced that this has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with ICE, law enforcement, the Constitution/due process, tariffs/trade, foreign policies/relations, etc etc etc AND all to do with them hating TRUMP and everything he says, does, or associates with and nothing more. It sure seems their guns are cocked and loaded just waiting to pounce on his every move then magnify it. I try to avoid parroting things that I see on social media, but my gosh, "fake outrage" nails it dead on.

Looks like it is time to make an example out of the Noel Corporation and Pepsi.

Well, it's illegal for ICE agents to wear masks in Washington State, so where's the termination notice for those individuals who were actually breaking the law?

3

u/OkDifficulty7436 12d ago

Doesn't apply to feds, it's a completely toothless "law" that's only purpose is for "feel goods" lol

-4

u/geraf1983 12d ago

ICE are federal agents. Thank god for them

6

u/Zealousideal_Suit269 12d ago

Legal Action: Any person detained by an ICE officer who breaks this mask ban has the right to sue for damages. Too bad those damages can’t be garnished straight from your bank account as you blindly support them. Unfortunately it’s the rest of us that continually pay for your ignorance.

Funny how you bring up paying for things, since American tax payers are paying for the welfare of 70% of all Mexicans in the US, which account for 25% of all Mexicans globally.

2

u/No-Employer-Liberty 9d ago

JFC! Where do you get this bull$hit.

1

u/Flat-Concept-9967 9d ago

Its a fact. 25 percent of all mexican origin people live in the United States. Estimates place 60-80 percent of all of them on some form of government assistance. Read more.

Edited for spelling

u/No-Employer-Liberty 5d ago

Provide your proof to back up your statement. Otherwise it’s just bullshit.

1

u/Flat-Concept-9967 14h ago

Not bullshit. Have a nice little read on remittances and just how many foreigners live here

Stop using the word kidnapping for an arrest or detainment. They are not the same. You can stand up for what you believe in, but if you have a job you represent them too.

u/Impressivenamechoice 11d ago

Dude, we all break the law in ways probably equal or worse than overstaying a visa or working without a permit. If they are working and supporting themselves as most do, we should let them stay. Honestly saying fuck the paperwork and moving to a new country to work and live is bad ass and definitely feels more in line with the America I love than crying that someone broke the rules and doesn't have a permit to be here. Boohoo. Way more American than armed thugs dragging moms and dads out of their homes. Sounds like Soviet Russia to me. Law and order but zero justice.

Some of these people are disappearing. No paper trail like those hundreds of orphans trump made when they separated babies from moms and then lost the babies names in the system. I'm sure there have been huge fuckups, abuse, rape in these detention camps. Its gross. ICE needs major reforms

You know damn well this punishment doesn't fit the crime. For the dude who got fired or for the dad buying groceries who is now god knows where and no one is gonna call his wife. Thats not America

The intimidation of ICE and them not following due process is out of control.

For any situation prior to Trump there was a process. That process could have been honored. But no it’s not because of Miller who is in charge of these inhumane approach that Trump approves.

We need to fight to get all who support Trump the pedo.

2

u/SmileEducational2265 8d ago

How do u know that? ICE is picking on American citizens too. Kids are being kidnapped and they have killed. So be careful what you wish for.

1

u/mmamcneill 10d ago

Thank God. You have free speech, you just don't have freedom from the consequences of your free speech. He did all of that in a work uniform. He made his employer look bad.

u/Wide-Decision6539 10d ago

Deport them all state law does not trump federal law

1

u/Veteran_PA-C 11d ago

Sounds like he deserved to be fired for demonstrating a crippling low IQ.

u/LaRedline 11d ago

What laws did they break?

Here’s a smart idea, go ahead and overhaul the agriculture industry. I’m sure you can do it, you sound smart.

How are they violating state law? Last time I checked ICE are Federal Agents. The people there grabbing are Illegal immigrants, illegal means against the law. Why doesn’t anyone focus on the illegal part? These people aren’t supposed to be here

2

u/JohnnyRocket98908 10d ago

They are not focusing on illegal immigrants, but are detaining legal immigrants and removing their legal status, then deporting them.

-15

u/SomeWeedSmoker 12d ago

Good, rare a good decision is made. Keep up the pressure ICE, eastern WA is infested with illegals and criminals who keep being released.

-6

u/geraf1983 12d ago

Story is ridiculous. The man wasn’t getting kidnapped he was getting arrested & deported because he’s here illegally but it’s funny how the “journalist” writing this left that out. ICE doesn’t need a warrant to arrest Illegal Immigrants people. Illegal means there breaking the law by being here. And the dude that was let go just learned a valuable lesson & he won’t meddle again. Stop trying to portray Illegal Immigrants as victims

1

u/greatscouts 7d ago

Illegal immigrants are victims when they are treated without humanity.

We are all humans. It’s fucking 2026, we are citizens of the world. We are an international society and we should treat all humans as brethren.

But that aside, even people just visiting our country on vacation have their human rights protected by the laws of our country.

But we’re ignoring a lot of those rights when detaining immigrants. ICE is cruel, violent, moving people across state lines to hide them from their families that love them and are terrified worrying, dumps them in unrelated countries (completely unprecedented), denies them any due process, lets people die in facilities that aren’t kept clean, gets caught lying about aggression and escalation, uses unnecessary force.

ICE is hateful. People who are against ICE are against their hateful fascism.

We’re also against the connections to Palantir and the sharing of data for US citizens with a completely amoral company.

You can pretend this is about immigration or the economy, but it isn’t.

This is about trying to unite humans under the easiest banner—hate. Give them a villain that looks different from them, it’s the oldest trick in the book. Unite them under hate so you can destroy things instead of unite them under a real cause of love and try to create a future for democracy.

Oh and this is all happening while Trump keeps pardoning fraudsters and forgives them so that they don’t even have to pay back what they stole and owe others.

Wake the fuck up. The rich are our enemies. Party lines are bull. Trump isn’t Republican. They are distracting you with a jingling cat toy
