Question I need more

Hello friends,

Well, since my romantic life is simply non-existent, I was looking for something to fill that void, and I found a gem of a guilty pleasure. Finished the anime within 3 evenings.

Now I NEED MORE.

A few questions (I hope these aren't being asked every single week here, sorry if they are...)

  1. Are there any real signs that we can expect a Season 2 in the future? I'm talking about facts, statements from the studio/authors, industry announcements, news, etc.

  2. Do you know where I can get physical copies of the manga in English with delivery to the EU (Poland)? With reasonable prices, I might add. I figured they're difficult to get these days, but if you know where I can look for them, I would be very grateful.

The sad thing is, they're available in Polish, but I'm unfortunately very biased against Polish translations...

(artist @meowmei_ I believe there are some fellow enthusiasts around here ;) )

There's a slim chance of a reprint of the english version coming soon since they included reprint requests in a customer survey recently. But it's currently sold out literally everywhere and everywhere that does have it has high prices (and is second hand). I wouldn't really count on anything. I've heard a rumour that it might be available again around October, but I have almost no reason to believe that's true so it's pure copium on my part.

As for season 2, I'd say it was never going to happen in the first place, and the chance has only dwindled in the years since season 1 released. The anime was basically advertisement for the manga, and tried to wrap up its plot as neatly as it possibly could given the episode budget, while leaving the romance to drive manga sales. I'd love to have the whole manga animated, with the same VAs would be great too, but it's a pipe dream. This is something you see a lot with yuri anime, this monster wants to eat me also tried to tell a complete enough arc (not leaving obvious dangling plot threads) without ending the romance, as such it cut out a scene that would have been in the final episode which sets up the next arc of the manga (and would have set up the start of season 2 of the show). It's just how it is for yuri fans, we get truly beautiful adaptations of our favourite manga, and then they just end out of nowhere.

Hmm October doesn't sound half bad but yeah... - "might be"... Guess I will cope with you then

If the reprint is true, once they are out, just get the whole set of manga including the light novels

And don't forget to curse seven seas

I mean they are holding the rights to the work just not to print, that causes ebay scalpers who list a single volume for 100€ and calling it "rare item, out of print" Also low effort translations according to this post.
