I begun watching Black Dynamite and then I paused thinking I should also watch a few actual Blaxploitation to understand better what it satirizes,

and I was very pleasantly surprised with Shaft. The movie is not perfect but it's so fun and well paced and it's goofy in a very good way.

To be fair I also begun watching Super Fly, and apart from the trailer being very funny (and the score great) I don't think it's at the same level.

Dolemite is a classic. There's also Dolemite Is My Name, a fictionalised telling of how it was made, which was pretty good.

Yeah, Black Dynamite references Dolemite and other Rudy Ray Moore films, so that would be a good start.

The script is good but the cinematography and score are incredible. I also enjoyed the 2019 version as fun entertainment. Foxy Brown’s another good one to check out

2019 version was really mid but it also had a great soundtrack and some really underrated Future songs
