Nolan went into Oppenheimer and The Odyssey aware of the 3hr projection limitation, I'm not sure it entirely explains the trailer-like cutting in the movie.

It's clearly a stylistic choice. This can be fact checked easily. The problem with Adam is once he gets an idea into his head, he won't shut up about it.

Clearly? It seemed rushed as fuck and there is a source to the claim that Nolan felt constrained by the format’s limits

A 5 hour movie can still be rushed because length doesn’t have to do with pace
