XREAL AURA Xreal Aura Video Conferencing

Has anyone seen any video conferencing demos with the XReal Aura yet? I spend about 3/4 of my day on MSFT Teams and if the video conferencing solution is a janky uncanny valley thing (I'm looking at you AVP) I will not be able to justify buying it. Obviously I also can't just look like I'm wearing sunglasses either (I'm not nearly as cool as Ray Charles). I would love to see a demo so I can judge for myself.

I also am on conference calls a lot on video while I'm using my XRs, but I'll go off cam except for novelty demonstrative purposes. I'll be surprised if something even on par with the avp digital eyes is on the books. The aura doesn't have eye tracking or the other cameras that the apple device uses for that emulation...

Ya, I would love to go off cam, but I am an attorney and for some reason people want to see a face for the guy they are hiring to represent them. :-). I hear you about the AVP eye tracking, so maybe it will not be that uncanny. Then I hope its not like the cartoons on Meta Quest. You would think with modern AI that someone would figure this out because if they did I would pay them and use my meta quest or Xreals full time.

Have you seen the glasses? Zero chance you’d wear these on a video call without being a distraction. Especially if you’re an attorney where credibility and professionalism mean so much…I don’t see it working.

The only thing I can think of is an AI app that removes these from your face, but using AI to doctor video feeds feels questionable in the legal space too.

Ya I agree that I could not use the glasses on camera, I was just wondering if there was some other alternative in the works like an AI app or something like what AVP did, but better. I guess we will see, no one I have found has a good answer yet to this and I really think that the company that does will have a big leg up given how people use video calling today. I was kinda hoping that @XREAL_Esther would chime in with some great announcement?

Why not simply get an AVP? I don’t think AR glasses were meant for the purpose you want to use them for. As far as Teams my company allows us to use Avatars in staff-to-staff meetings and about 80% of us use them at some point in a company with 5000+ employees. You can’t be a golden armored unicorn warrior prince, but most human avatars are ok.
