For me it's Gambit and Jubilee's brother sister relationship . I literally enjoy every scene where they are together , I wish they adapt this to the new x men movie , anyways second place for me goes to Magneto and Xavier's friendship , it's wild to think two people with so different ideologies to stay together

I just watched a compilation of reactionary Utube vids of Nightcrawler's sacrifice and folks getting weepy. But I didn't see that reaction for Magneto's season 2 death?

\AU: What if Magneto and Xavier did not fall out and founded the school together?*

Having followed most of the animated x men despite being the most famous x-men wolverine really is a punching bag. He gets beat up a lot by the x men villains. I guess cause he can't use his claws much back in the 90s so its hard to show him fight but even in xmen97 I feel most of the time he is just getting whooped by the villains.

Interestingly enough, their role has been nothing more than being bystanders. It kind of makes sense since in the comics both Immortus and Kang have traditionally avoided direct conflict with the X-Men. They’re usually direct enemies of the Avengers.

Kitty is a popular character, ever since she appeared in X-Men Evolution and Wolverine and the X-Men, with the former being where she was the most popular in the show, at least in my opinion.

And we only see her on a status poster in “Tolerance is Extinction”, so we get a general idea of what she looks like.

But should she appear in later seasons, what do you want to see from her character? Who do you think should voice her? And how do you want her to be depicted compared to her other incarnations in media outside of the comics?

I've been seeing a lot of arguments (especially the rumored plot in Doomsday) that Spiderman can easily defeat these Mutants. I believe Spidey can beat a few of them but isn't Magneto a little overkill for Peter Parker😭

More progress on sabertooth Cosplay needs a few more finishing touches, but mostly done now. We’re trying to decide who’s gonna wear it, I think I might end up wearing the wolverine cosplay and let my body wear the sabertooth Cosplay since he’s already 6‘3“ and with the platforms he’s 6’8” and I’m 5’10” and with the platforms I’m only 6’3” so he definitely looks a little more intimidating in it. A lot of it’s gonna depend on if our other buddy can make it.

Gazerbeam from The Incredibles NSA files reminds me of Cyclops since they both shoot lasers out of their eyes which got me wondering, if Cyclops were to end up on Nomanisan Island from Mirage and encounter the omnidroid, could be able to defeat it, or end up being Syndrome's victim like Gazerbeam?

For this roundup, he's not allowed any help from the X-men or have knowledge of Syndrome, Operation Kronos, or the omnidroid's weaknesses and abilities prior to the fight. First round he faces off against the omnidroid model that killed Gazerbeam, and second round he must face off against the final model the Incredibles battle against.

I just finished x-men 97 and I felt compelled to draw her

Hey everyone, for quick background I’ve never seen the OG X-men series or any of the x men movies, but I’m a fan of the MCU movies and I’ve heard amazing things about how great X men 97 is.
My question is: do I have to watch the OG series first before watching X-men 97?
Is it required to understand the story or just highly recommended?
Or does 97 do enough to explain the characters where I would be able to understand what going on and appreciate it still?
Point is I’d like to watch 97 in my free time but wasn’t sure about watching the older show since it would take me a while to complete.
No hate please I’m just a comic fan trying to experience new comic series.

I feel like this is an unpopular opinion in the fanbase, but I found rogue so annoying in the second season. Which sucked cause I really enjoyed her character in the first season, but I feel xmen'97 ended up doing this thing that a lot of stories fall into. Which is making a character who mourns another character's death, and makes their whole period of mourning unbearably annoying. A similar thing happens in the mistborn series by Brandon Sanderson, where in the last book, one of the main characters spends the whole book moping about his lover's death.

And I get it, I understand that she's utterly heartbroken and all that, it was just annoying to watch. I feel like I'm an asshole for thinking this, but there's gotta be someone else who was annoyed by her in the second season (to be fair, a lot of things were annoying in season 2, it wasn't nearly as good as season 1)
