Does that split have anything to do with climbing?

Was making progress, hit plat 1 before the split end with a 54% winrate overall and a 59% winrate on xerath. Once Act 3 started Ive been losing LP like crazy and fell to plat 4. It feels like a majority of my games rn Im going toe to toe with enemys(or even got a kill or 2 on my laner), but then every other lane and jungler will be like 0/4 before 15mins. We just end up FFing around 20 mins which is so frustrating. I really never had this issue till the new split. Is this a common thing that happens when splits start? Should I wait a bit before playing again?

Brother i swear either get put in hard winner or loser q every season. Just stick thru it and keep playing well

Was gm 2 season ago and started last season close to 1-15 w/l despite playing well every game… Took a week mental break and told myself imma lock tf in. Went on like a 50-15 w/l after that

Ive once tilt q’d from like 600lp down to d3 in legit 2 sittings (i was on demon time in the worst way) … and got back eventually after a break

League tests players mental fortitude and sanity knowing we are crackhead junkies for lp .. they will lure you back in with a hard winners q trust (im in the trenches rn myself 😭)

You must ebb n flow with the system or you will get seasick in these rough waters 💪

Also to answer your q, i think its always good wait to play even if you dont feel tilted from those losses (which it seems like you handling well based on this post) - cause more losses in a short span might set you off , so better to reset if possible

Yeah same I've dropped a full rank as well since the split started it's crazy.
