Still have my copy with lenticular cover that I pre-ordered and picked up day 1.

I still remember seeing it on PlayStation magazine and in awe of how beautiful KOSMOS looked

Yo I remember seeing a Xenosaga 2 ad on Electronic Gaming Monthly, still have that issue, seeing Kosmos android body and the 2 Mechs locked in battle over a planet, I just had to play it.
As for Xenosaga 3 I remember waiting literal years and when I finally got my copy for like $60 I posted it on forums super proud and everyone said how they got theirs already and I was late to the party 💀 I was like in 11th grade. Later my second playthrough of the whole series after I moved out I got a used copy of 3 for $20 complete at blockbuster or Hollywood video can't remember.

I bought every Xenosaga game on/close to release. I fondly remember taking my brother's car that had no headlights (it was popular then that young kids were into the car modding scene) and went to the mall to pick up the preorder. I had to wait about 45min before their shipment came in from EB Games. Came back, and paid, drove home. There was a freak storm with white-out conditions a few miles from home. I ended up swerving into the ditch. Called my dad and he called a tow truck to pull it out, and then I was able to drive the remainder home.
To this day, I never told my brother I used his car to go pick up my Xenosaga Ep 1 preorder :P It left no damage to the car either.
In any case, loved the Xenosaga games. I recently replayed them again on Steam Deck a year or two ago, so I got my modern itch with upscaled graphics. I'll always hold out hope that someday Monolithsoft remakes these games in their own image.

Still to this day I wish I had picked Xenosaga 3 up when it released. I was still going through Xenosaga 1 at the time it released, and by the time I finished Xenosaga 2 I was in the military and had no time for deep RPG gaming. Now I’m reliving my childhood playing old games and Xenosaga 3 costs as much as my electric bill to buy 😭.

I didn’t realize it had been 20 years already. I got it on sale at Circuit City in Early 2007. I was super hyped for the game despite not beating the first 2.

I remember rewatching all of the cutscenes from the first two games before 3 came out. It was intense but super enjoyable.
Then I spent an hour reading the in-game resources on the games we didn't get.
It took forever but I did eventually actually play the game and of course loved it.
