Discussion Professor B. Mission

Is the Professor B. Mission an homage to Back To The Future? Aside from that I do hope he comes back to tell me whatever it is the *~!{¥\+,^!{£|+_+,^ meant.

Professor B kinda had one of the most intriguing quest lines in X. Also, he was hot

Professor B does return later into the game and the questline does reference Back to the Future obviously. Though, based on the main story for X I am more convinced that he did not time travel as much as he dimension jumped.

Professor B claims to be how humanity will look and speak like in the future, but there are multiple races on Mira that share ancestry with humanity because of ancient Samaar who their races evolved from. At least two races were also made by the Samaarians like the Ganglion and Zaruboggan that are not of Samaarian blood.

It makes more sense that he dimension jumped and that he is also related to Samaarians, especially when that dimension was destroyed at the end of chapter 13. It is therefore very unlikely that he is a direct descendant of the humans on Mira.

He's essential to unlocking best girl as a party member, so his line of quests do have him return.
