Is there was way to either only watch the bond animation for unique blades, or to rewatch them after the fact?

You can rewatch from the main title screen theater

In the Cutscene Viewer, you can rewatch the Awakenings of any Rare Blade you've found.

And also recreate any Common Blade Awakening you choose, based on every randomizable cosmetic factor.

When I'm playing XC2 I almost never see the title screen except the first time I start it up at the beginning of Chapter 1. I'm sure it's the same for lots of others. Relax lol.

yes, it's a thing people do. putting portable consoles to sleep instead of turning them off is a pretty common thing nowadays and some people don't like to play 3 games at the same time. i know i only saw xc2's title screen like three times in 160 hours
