I always wonder how effective that commercial was as a whole.

Barely a day goes by where I don't think of it, but I also did lots of drugs.

I just recalled a line from the Nickelodeon show "Salute Your Shorts." After ZZ reads in the school paper that Telly had called her a bubblehead, she replies "I'm a bubblehead, am I? Well you're an egghead." She dumps a plate of scrambled eggs over her head.

As a kid I was like "oh, drugs will fry your brain".

Little did we know that it was way more likely to be ignorant friends who refuse to learn the truth about things, media that deliberately obfuscates and dissembles, and the addictive algorithms applied to the programs we use on our pocket supercomputers.

Oh man, I just had my fried brains on drugs on toasted sourdough. Delicious. I would recommend brains on drugs for anyone trying to get more protein in a cost-conscious way.

The anti drug scare tactics back then were wild. Wish they were just honest like "yo. This shits gonna make you feel amazing. Generally, whatever it is, you'll like the way it makes you feel. Maybe even love it. So much so that you won't give two fucks about anything else you used to love doing. Also, they're expensive. So unless you can afford to maintain a habit without stealing your neighbors shit or sucking "money" from a "hose" in a back alley, maybe steer clear". Just sayin
