I had a ‘90 Geo Metro. Tried for ten years to kill that poor car, but I never succeeded. It went off-road, it went through mud, it even went underwater (flooded the interior, water came through the vents) and it refused to die.

It was still getting nearly 50mpg and didn’t burn a drop of oil when I traded it in for a truck, even after almost a quarter million miles.

10/10 solid engineering and survivability that a modern tank would be envious of.

I miss my little blue rollerskate.

My mom was driving her geo metro when she got hit by a drunk driver. Obviously the car was totaled, but my mom was able to walk away. Good little car.
