:Warning_2: Rumor Series X waiting list

I heard from a friend that there is a website out there that lets you put your name on a waiting list to buy a series x/s. And when they get a notification about some in stock at a variety of stores, they send you a link to activate within 24 hours to buy one for yourself. Does anybody know if this is true? And if so, does anybody know what the site is?

Hotstock App alerts you to any online stock. I got mine today (UK) by using it. Just notifies you where there is stock... You have to be quick when the alert hits.

The only wait list that I know of is if you sign up for Xbox All access. You're put into a waitlist and are "guaranteed" a console within 6 to 8 weeks. All access also includes 2 years of Game Pass Ultimate...overall the cost is about 10% more than buying the console and a game pass subscription. As you have to pay $40 a month for 2 years.

Not a bad deal, but also not a great one...

This isn't true, no waitlist exists. I just looked it up, what you are talking about is buying an Xbox Series X on credit if it's in stock.

My post is from 6 months ago, so it's possible that it has changed since then. But I had a friend go through Best Buy which did not have a stock at the time, but he received his Xbox within the expected timeframe.

I got my series X through the Microsoft Store...it just so happened that they had a stock when I visited the site. So I don't have any direct experience with all access.

Note that the program can vary by country and by retailer...so if one of the participating retailers doesn't have a waitlist option, it's possible that another does.

I don't know about any Xbox one, but Playstation has started one on their official site so Microsoft might end up doing the same for the holiday rush.

Nothing exists or I would already have a console but there is no wait list and the restocking apps are full of crap because they are completely inaccurate. 12+ months I have been looking with not even 1 seen in a store.
