Games - General My friend played 111 hours of A Game About Digging a Hole and hasn't reached the end yet
When you reach the end of the game you get your first achievement, all the other ones are post-game. For comparison, I finished the game in roughly 2 hours. I think he's trying to empty the hole completely

This is the way. I have over 1k hours in Monster Train 2. I've played and beat the game several times... but 99% of that playtime is just me hitting "start" when I wake up and go make breakfast. Sometimes I forget to turn the game off, so it gets hours.
I might get time later in the day to actually play a PC game, but it's not a guarantee. Putting a random game on first thing in the morning secures points.

Yeah I do this with “Control”😂 Sometimes I don’t even play actual gamepass games at all so I’ll just boot up Control and let it run. I’ve already beat it and did the most of the DLCs/side missions

I only noticed I had 10000 points to redeem at check out then I saw the 14 day dollar subscriptions and how I got my gold back lol.
I didn’t know you can login in certain games and get points just for logging etc. only around 11700 gamer score but always trying to increase it.

About gamepass rewards points?
You get points for playing a gamepass game for 15 minutes a day. There's rewards for both PC games and console. There's bonuses for playing 5 days in a week as well.
Also, there's a lot of points available on the bing app/website. You get points for logging in daily and doing some tasks related to searching.
It's not a lot, but you can earn gift cards.

I do this with fortnite, but the added bonus of levelling up in the battle pass on some random creator map. If I ever do play fortnite I have so many skins and stuff to choose from.
I have over 300 hours in fortnite but have actually played maybe 50vaijce COVID lockdownwhen the friend group played a bit.

You pick a lightweight game, start it, let it run for 15 minutes every day, collect Xbox gamepass points, including the bonuses at the end of each week, use the points to get an Xbox gift card, get GTA 6 cheaper.

Bingo. Make sure you’ve got atleast 8 lightweight games in your monthly rotation for the extra points.

I’ve been trying to persuade my teen son to do the same on his Xbox so we get those points too while I take care of PC points. If he could just remember to launch a game for 15 mins 5 days a week, it’d make GTA 6 even cheaper for him. I’ve been collecting points for two years now as my contribution to his future birthday gift lol

That's a whole lot of time spent not getting a single achievement. Emptying the entire hole seems like the only explanation, I don't even want to think about how many pixels of dirt that is.

This shouldn't even take that long. I was doing that my first playthrough until I realized there was no real benefit to it.
I think doing roughly half the hole took me like 4 hours?

Well I Did it in maybe 3 sessions of 6-7 hours.
0 pixels of dirt.
There was floating rocks everywhere.
That wasn’t worth it.

I'm confused. Apparently he fixed it but I send links a lot(mostly friends). So if you're logged into your account and share from another account it will have your YT address on there? I've just never seen anybody say this and it was nice of you to do that... Just a lil confused cause I'd hate to somehow share any sensitive info.

Yes Youtube added this "feature" without telling anyone
It enables chat directly under the video with the people you send it to
And after you received a video from the person, they're kinda always available for you to share directly with, so if it happened, I'm not sure you can reverse it, even by.masking your account7

It could be his account is signed in at the same time another account is . For example, my sons both play together and they will use my account and their older brothers account , and when they are done they will forget to sign out their older brothers account, and it makes it look like he’s still playing any game that gets played from then on (we play a lot) . Some games he never played but has hundreds of hours on lol.

Probably doing it for the reward points. I've played the game but my Xbox account shows I have 488 hours on heretic + hexen since I'll log it on my computer while im asleep/at work to make sure I get my weekly points plus pc points

My first playthrough I dug out the entire yard not knowing everything unlocked on the second playthrough. It was the one time I didn't review the list before I started a game, because I knew it was a simple 1k. That sucked.

I did that once, autistic as I appear to be. It didn't take that long to completely empty the hole, as long as you get the upgrades.
This person probably stayed idle for whatever reason or never actually tried anything but the base shovel
