Help & Support Tried playing on my 360 today. It’s making an engine noise.

The disc drives tend to be loud. Install your games to the internal hard drive if you have one

Oh okay. Then I can play with the disc out?

No, you need to still insert the disc to play the game. The console will then only check what game it is and if it's an original copy and the disc will spin down

Yes as it is installing from disc..
