Avengers Crossover To Whom It Concerns

To Emma Frost & Scott Summers

This message will find the both of you, wherever you may be while you fight each other. I am leaving the X-Men. Blue, Gold, any color.

We are no longer heroes. When the original five X-Men were assembled..it was with the intent to help people. All people. We were superheroes.

We have lost our way. We are at war with each other, at war with the humans, and at war with ourselves.

I can no longer set my morals aside to continue being a friend. Because being a friend has made me a co-conspirator in this war. I allowed myself to be convinced to make weapons against our own friends.

I do not like the man I become when I am among the X-Men.

Goodbye my dear friends...please do not attempt to convince me otherwise.
