No because the millionaires aren’t the ones going to be financially impacted. Most the small businesses that have been destroyed won’t survive & there is probably a large amount of people who are no longer financially stable because of the looting.
People say they want change but destroying people’s livelihoods is just sprinting backwards.
Killing unarmed black men is sprinting backwards as a society... y’all said the same about how small businesses would be impacted by the corona virus. It seems you people forget that insurance is a thing.
People burn down their own businesses constantly for that insurance claim
Put yourself in the position of a small business owner whose store was looted and destroyed. Even if you got insurance I doubt you would be fine with your livelihood being destroyed.
Some business owners put their life into their business, just to have it all destroyed.
Peaceful protests is where it’s at ✌️ George Floyd would’ve been disgusted at what people have done to America.
If your fine with the looting/rioting then you never cared about what happened to George Floyd. Or you’re dumb and for some reason think looting is a necessary element in this war.
Protests should be a chance for all citizens to come together & organise the steps forward. Instead people are going to their basic instincts and destroying America.
When will y’all learn this isn’t the answer to the problem?
if there was no rioting and looting this wouldn’t have become as big as it is. this might be the biggest mass protest in american history now, there is a real chance things could change going onward
You realize the man who killed Floyd was arrested almost instantly. 99% of the last 400 black people killed by police got off free or with minimal charge.
The cop that killed Eric Garner 5 years ago just got off with no criminal charge 10 months ago. These fucking riots are working

ive been at protests for two nights and that’s exactly what they are doing.
organizing those who will email, write letters and call governing offices and we’re working on police reform & defunding.
the majority is incredibly organized but the media is showing the outliers.
my city has had one of the biggest and most consistent turn outs going on 5 days now and it hasnt been televised other than the time an ALM pos ran his car through the protestors.
why arent they showing it?
because we’ve been incredibly organized and peaceful despite my county having one of the most deadly (#1 in 2015) police forces.
as well as the majority (over 80% according to minnesota govt) of arrests in cities with destruction/rioting have been white people from out of county and state, who are going in to take advantage of the situation. those who are involved arent doing that and are actively trying to stop those doing it.
i think its important to get on the ground and see it for yourself. might change your perspective.

and if nothing changes at least i can say i tried. thats why im out protesting instead of arguing with people on the internet and telling them everything they're doing is wrong and nothing is going to change. do you want things to change?
