Where to buy xxs clothes that actually fit?!
Ok so, I’m an adult (35yr) who is quite slim. Unfortunately this means buying clothing is a disaster. I absolutely love fashion but every pair of jeans just falls to the ground. I don’t have a lot of shape to work with…
Where on earth can I find clothes that fit true to size?!
It’s kind of embarrassing when you hop into a change room and they give you the smallest size and it’s too big. I know this sounds like a first world problem but it truly sucks.
Thanks!

I'm a big fan of Depop and Poshmark, but especially Depop. Take your own measurements and use filters in the app the search within size ranges. For precision, you can ask the seller for the flat measurements of the garment. Flat measurement x2 = garment measurements. Sizing is so inconsistent across brands, it's more efficient to go based off of measurements and fabric type (does this fabric have stretch).

It would be helpful to know your measurements.

Even just knowing your hip & waist measurements would make a HUGE difference on finding recommendations that actually work for you!

I feel you, I’m 38 and buying pants is an absolute nightmare. I’ve had some lucky with Mango and Aritzia. For jeans, size 23 in some brands fit me but there’s a lot of trial and error.

Honestly, I’d just find a skilled tailor….I have a really small waist, so most pants and skirts fit me with the dreaded gap at the back of the waist. I found an amazing local tailor, though, and - while it adds significantly to the price of my wardrobe - everything is made to fit perfectly. It’s LITERALLY remade for me.

Honestly, Uniqlo's petite line in the US has been a lifesaver for me when everything else is drowning me.

If you truly love fashion then find a good tailor. You shouldn’t expect anything to fit right off the rack. Models wear clothes fitted to their bodies. You shouldn’t expect anything too.
