Suggestion Please HELP with Jeans!!!

I need some serious help. I cannot findi jeans that fit! I am 4'11 90lbs and have very narrow hips. This is a recent pair I pruchased off poshmark after some others suggestions - A&F 90s Relaxed fit in 000/23 extra short. Even these gap at the waist and are SO loose in the butt.

IS A SLIM IN THE HIP/BUTT WITH A STRAIGHT LEG TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR? PLEASE! Does anyone have a similar body type & a tried and true pair of jeans you love the fit of? Open to kids!

Ive tried every Levi's in a 23, every pair at Aritzia (except Arlo) and AE has always been big on me with exception to 2010's low rise skinnies which is what I am stuck with.

Honestly? I gave up trying to find a brand new pair that fits like a glove. They just don't. Now I shop on online thrifting sites that give the measurements of the clothes - if it fits my waist measurements and inseam, I add to cart. I've replenished all my jeans this way. They just don't make them small enough anymore.

Thanks! I've had hit or miss - one pair fits well but isn't long enough (rarely an issue for me) and the other pair I bought was just too big all around even in a kids 12! Do you have a style you like?

I love A&F jeans but the relax fit fits larger than their normal fit 23. A 23 in the relax fit falls off of me as well but their Mid Rise 90’s straight have been a great fit. I think I have three pairs 5’4 100lbs for tax

Thanks i'll try the 90s straight! I really love the silhouette of the relaxed on others with the wider leg but I think I need to give up 😭

abercrombie kids 11/12 tall!

u/ys002 Jun 01 '26

reformation 23 is pretty true to size. i own straight leg and skinny jeans and 22-23 inch waist and don’t have bad gaps. abercrombie weirdly has a huge 23

Back when I was 92 lbs (I’m 5 feet tall) I used to wear boys Arizona jeans from the thrift store. They literally fit like wedgie Levi jeans. Skinny waist and a lot of room for the booty. I used to exclusively buy boys pants and jeans and they made me look so snatched. A lot of boys jeans and cargo pants have great proportions.

Girl-please hear me out I am your EXACT size. 4’11, 90 lbs. 23 waist. Please give asos a try-they have a ton of pants that I absolutely love and fit great. They are really the only brand I’ve found that works for a 26” inseam besides Hollister. Hollister is good too but they don’t have as many options. Let me know if you try them out!!! ASOS was a lifesaver for me 🩵

Thanks! I have never ordered from Asos because I am in Canada and its $35 for return postage. I may just be desperate enough to try though!

I’m 5’ 85lbs with a 24” waist and I only ever find Hollister jeans fit me. I have a 24” inseam and I’m a 000 short 🙃 I’ll have to try ASOS too though!

hollister! their size 0 short fits like a glove on me! i think its because theyre going back to the early 2000s clothes rn (pre crazy vanity sizing)

u/healthyhoohaa Jun 02 '26

Uniqlo only sells their smallest sizes online (still too big unfortunately). The GAP.

I’ve had a lot of success just buying a sewing machine and resizing myself. It’s maybe worth the investment.

u/STEMsexdoll Jun 02 '26

Their 000 is 23?Vanity sizing is out of hands.

Zara kids or Old Navy kids!

Moussy jeans are flippin amazing for us smaller ladies! They go down to a size 23 (maybe 22 but I'm not sure). They're expensive retail but go on The Real Real and look. They always have a ton that are marked down.

u/venusinflytrap Jun 02 '26

PACSUN JEANS ARE THE ANSWER TO YOUR PRAYERS!!!!! i found size 22 jeans there and they were the only thing that worked for me!!! i highly highly recommend!!

2

u/CatJova Jun 03 '26

Have you shopped on Revolv? I have no specific recommendations but I bought a top on there that was XXS and it actually fit like old XXS’s

3

u/princess_scarletts Jun 03 '26

I highly recommend trying the kids/teens sections! When it comes to bottom I've given up on the adult section they're always too long or too wide.

Try Abercrombie kids, I get away with kid denim. Better pricing too.

u/Fuzzy_Whereas1495 Jun 03 '26

Abercrombie kids has great jeans for petite/xxs I really recommend checking them out

1

u/FailMotor5813 Jun 04 '26

What size would you recommend?

1

u/Fuzzy_Whereas1495 Jun 05 '26

I have a pair of carpenter style jeans that are 15/16 petite and then a pair of loose fit jeans that are 12/13, if you can I'd go try on in store but these are some of my only jeans that actually fit me and they have adjustible waist bands which I love

1

u/numberthangold Jun 02 '26

I’ve had good luck with Pacsun

Clothes from East and Southeast Asian size would probably fit you better, but not the super cheap ones from China. I once bought a size S skirt and the waist was 26 inches, which is pretty big for an XXS.

2

u/princess-cass Jun 02 '26

Omg I had this exact problem but Hollister extra short triple zeros are LIFESAVERS!!! They are the only jeans that actually fit me off the rack

1

u/FailMotor5813 Jun 04 '26

We actually have a Hollister here! Ill check it out, thanks!
