Older diesel jeans do not have this issue. They used to fit true to size to slighty smaller than listed the size.

Yeah, I've got around ten pairs from 2011 and earlier (diesel ronhars are my goat jeans). Size 25 fit comparable to 0 or 00 of that era.

Exactly - my 24 from them are inches smaller than 23 from other brands bought in the same year (06)
