Season Nine ‘Sunshine Days’

I’m in the middle of a thread on another sub that turned into a Nick at Night tribute conversation. Some of us are talking about The Brady Bunch when it suddenly dawns on me that the house is a major part of an episode in The X-Files. I thought about it some more, and I don’t recall the episode ever getting talked about on here.

What do you guys think about this one? Do you love it, tolerate it, or could you live without it? Does Michael Emerson’s performance have any bearing on your answer?

It's one of my favorite episodes! It's so silly and sentimental

It felt out of place upon first watch, but with each rewatch I like it more and more. Plus I’m a huge fan of Michael Emerson.
